Description
Deep red color leads in this oval ruby birthstone ring, set in warm yellow gold. The single faceted ruby is natural and heat-treated, so you get a stone with its own character. The gold is solid, with no plating to wear away, and its glow deepens the red. Four prongs hold the oval and lift it to catch light from several angles, on a slim band that stays low and comfortable. Wear it alone with a white tee, or stack it beside thin bands for dinner out. A fitting gift for a July birthday.

Are the rubies in these rings natural or lab-created?
It depends on the ring, so check each title. Some titles say Lab-Created Ruby, while others list ruby without that label. In general, many natural rubies are heat treated to improve color, which is a standard practice across the trade, and lab-created rubies share the same basic chemistry as natural stones.
Is a ruby hard enough to wear every day?
Yes, ruby is one of the hardest gemstones. It rates 9 on the Mohs scale, just below diamond, so it resists scratches well. Rings still take knocks, so remove them for heavy work. See our jewelry care page for cleaning tips.
Should I pick a halo, three-stone, or simple ruby and diamond ring?
Choose by the look you want. A halo surrounds the ruby with small diamonds for a bolder, sparkly look. A three-stone ring gives a balanced, classic feel. Oval and marquise styles with a ruby and diamond are slimmer and easier to stack or wear daily.
Does yellow or white gold suit a ruby ring better?
Both flatter ruby, in different ways. Yellow gold adds warmth and makes the red look rich, while white gold gives a cooler, brighter contrast that lets the diamonds stand out. Most rings here are 14K gold, so pick the tone that matches the jewelry you already wear.
