What width wedding band should I choose?+
Many women choose 2 to 4 mm and many men 6 to 8 mm, but there is no rule. A slim band suits a slim finger and sits neatly beside an engagement ring; a wider band has more presence.
What is a comfort fit band?+
Comfort fit means the inside of the band is gently rounded. That curve lets the ring slide over the knuckle more easily and feel smoother against the finger.
Should our wedding bands match?+
They don't have to. Many couples choose the same metal colour and let each band suit its wearer, one slim with diamonds and one plain and wider.
Will a wedding band sit flush with my engagement ring?+
Many will. A straight band sits flush against most solitaires; a ring with a low setting may need a curved or notched band.
What is the difference between 14K and 10K gold?+
14K gold is 58.3% pure gold and 10K is 41.7%. 14K has the richer colour. 10K is a little harder and costs less.
Are titanium and stainless steel bands good for everyday wear?+
Yes, both are popular for daily wear. They come in brushed, polished, hammered and beveled finishes, and black IP plating and inlays add colour without changing the band shape.
Why choose a silicone band?+
Silicone is soft and flexible, so it is a good choice for sport, manual work or swimming, when you would rather leave your gold band at home.
What is the difference between white gold and platinum?+
White gold is gold mixed with whiter metals and usually finished with a bright rhodium plating. Platinum is naturally white and heavier.
