This Cookie Policy explains how Sophia Jewelers uses cookies and similar technologies on sophiajewelers.com, and the choices you have. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as pixels and local storage, work in a comparable way. They help a website remember your actions and preferences, and help us understand how our website is used.
How we use cookies
Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for our store to work. They keep items in your shopping bag, keep your session secure, process checkout and remember your privacy choices. Our store runs on Shopify, which sets these cookies on our behalf. They cannot be switched off.
Preferences
These remember choices you make, such as your currency, recently viewed items and wishlist, so the website feels familiar when you return.
Analytics
These help us understand how visitors use our website, such as which pages are visited and how people arrive, so we can improve it. We use Shopify analytics and Google Analytics.
Marketing
These are set by our advertising partners to measure our advertising and show you relevant ads on other websites. Our partners include Google (Google Ads), Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, Microsoft (Bing Ads) and Pinterest.
Your choices
- Cookie banner: when you first visit, you can accept or decline non-essential cookies. Analytics and marketing cookies are only used in line with your choice.
- Your privacy choices: you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information at any time on our Your Privacy Choices page.
- Browser settings: most browsers let you view, delete or block cookies. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of our store, such as checkout, may not work.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our website or partners change. The latest version will always be available on this page.
